SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCES

Phillip Burrows joined the U.S. Navy in 1943 and served during WWII at Yorktown, Virginia, then at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii and the Tinian Islands.  He specialized in Mine Operations as an Assembler and Tester.  He was called back during the Korean War and served at the Quonset Naval Base in Rhode Island.

 

He and his wife, Dorothy, lived in the Villa Homes and also South Kingstown, Rhode Island.

Phil Burrows passed away in April 2005
