SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCES
  • Variety of stateside Marine Corps Bases: Quantico, Virginia; Camp Pendleton, California; Camp LeJuene, North Carolina and One year in combat zone in Korea with the 1st Marine Division 1952 to April 1953. Final rank of Captain. In civilian life Don was the first President of the Lexington Community Association.  He owned Mid-America Leasing Co., and Triad Financial Services Co. A Lawyer he was also General Counsel at A.O. Smith.
  • He and his wife, Corkie lived in Wedgewood

 

Donald D. Eckhardt passed away at Health Park in Fort Myers, Florida on May 2, 2008.  Service with Military Honors was at held at Kiser Funeral Home.
