Significant Experiences

After the end of the "shooting war" served as a prison guard Ft. Indiantown Gap until being transferred to the 4th Army district at Fort Chaffee, AR, then transferred to Camp Polk, LA, since the Army didn't know what to do with 15 of us, O.CS candidates.  We stayed there for 8 months, then were sent to Fort Reilly, KA, to assist in the reactivation of the 10th Mountain Division, which had been deactivated after WW II.
