Associate Members
This membership category is designed to open membership to any Honorably Discharged Veteran who has previously resided in the Lexington Community, was a member of the LVA and still wants to maintain membership. Further, this type of membership will be opened to any Honorably Discharged Veteran who currently resides in Lee County and has a desire to become involved with an organization committed to aiding and assisting in providing benefits and comforts to our Armed Services personnel. Dues for this membership is $30 per year payable Nov 1 each year. These individuals will have the same benefits as full membership.

Auxiliary Members
This membership category is designed for any resident of the Lexington Community who wishes to become involved with aiding and assisting the proud men and women of our
Armed Forces.  These individuals will have access to all LVA functions.  Dues for this membership is $30 per year payable Nov 1 each year.

DISTINGUISHED MEMBERS
This type of membership will be awarded to persons within the LVA who have significantly contributed to the safekeeping of our Nation and who, by their courage and valor,  have received special commendations by our government or our Allies or who have contributed significantly to the stature and direction of the Lexington Veterans Association.  These individuals are elected into this class of membership by the officers of the LVA and are not  subject to any dues.

 YONG CHOL AHN

South Korean Army ROK Korean War Veteran - Intelligence Officer - POW - later Diplomat to Switzerland, Italy, Ambassador to Ghana, Columbia and twice to the United Nations in NY.  Ahn has been extremely helpful to the LVA since its inception. (Deceased).  Inducted Memorial Day May 25, 2009
       
       
       

HONORARY MEMBERS

JACK WAGNER

United States Army Vietnam War Veteran who was twice wounded in action and a member of General Hal Moore's 7th Cavalry featured in Time/Life and the movie "We Were Soldiers".  Past National Commander of the Combat Infantryman's Association and Commander of the SW Florida Chapter of the CIA.  Member of the Lee County Pride & Patriotism Event.
