SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCES
Leon was a Medic
in the Army Medical Corps and served in both the South Pacific and
Europe. He was in combat in both theaters and also directed
Prisoners of War. He was awarded the Bronze Star for heroism.
He and his wife, Jacqueline, lived in Southmont Cove.

Leon Lapidus passed away at Lexington
on December 7, 1999. He was buried in Nashville, Tennessee.
