Significant Experiences
While in CA, VA-23 & Airwing 2 deployed on USS Constitution coming out of overhaul to get crew qualified for carrier ops. Vietnam, flew 113 missions over North & South Vietnam attempting to disrupt China's supply of guns & ammo. South Vietnam, dropped 250#, 500# & 100# bombs plus 2.75" & 5.00" rockets from A-4 Skyhawk aircraft.
Florida and Mediterranean flew A-4 from Shangri-La in numerous training flights.
