SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCES
Bill Marsh joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1956 just after the Korean War. He spent time in San Diego, California, Camp Pendleton, California and 29 Palms, California as a Driver of a 155 Self-propelled Gun Battalion. One of his most interesting experiences was being part of the Invasion Forces headed for Cuba. Bill was discharged in 1962 and later in life became an active member of the Lexington Veterans Association.< ALIGN="CENTER"> He and his wife, Beth, lived in the winter months in Sommerset Villas and the summer months in Missouri. |
William Marsh passed away
in Rogersville, MO on June 23, 2010 and was buried with full
Military Honors.
